I love online cooking clubs and have been lucky enough to be included in Sweet Melissa Sundays. This group of bloggers is working through the book The Sweet Melissa Baking Book by Melissa Murphy. Melissa is the owner of the popular Sweet Melissa Patisseries in Brooklyn and is known for her unique fusion of American comfort classics and French training.
Stephanie of Ice Cream Before Dinner chose Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies for this week's recipe. My daughter returned home from camp yesterday and these were the perfect treat to welcome her home. These cookies are straight up classic peanut butter cookies. I added some milk chocolate chips to half the batter to create a peanut butter-chocolate chip version reminiscent of a Reese Peanut Butter Cup. Yum!
This delicious recipe can be found on Stephanie's blog!
