Orange Scented Scones

This week's Sweet Melissa Sunday's recipe, Orange Scented Scones, was selected by Robin over at Lady Craddock's Bakery.

The scones came together very easily. I loved the addition of ground oats and just recently learned from Robin's blog that scones were originally made with oats. The oats added to the rustic feel of these scones. These were heartier than your traditional nibble-with-a-cup-of-tea scone. I topped mine with orange glaze and sliced almonds to add another dimension of orange flavor and some crunch. Yummy!
This great recipe can be found here.
