Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Scones
Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Scones. What's not to love? Even scone haters will love this week's treat from Baked Elements.
More like a cross between a brownie and a cake than the crumbly, dry, bland scones that are what most people envision when saying they don't like scones. Each wedge is a party of flavor and texture.
Bonus - This is one of the easiest Baked recipes you will ever try. Just a couple of bowls, a gentle pat straight on the pan, bake, cut,, and serve. Rustic simplicity at its best.

Hi Shiloh! I would love to post the recipe here but our group as agreed not to post the recipes on our individual blogs and instead encourage readers to visit our group's website or buy the book! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
DeleteVery nicely done, Candy! This truly is one of the easiest Baked recipes by far!
ReplyDeleteThese scones look delicious:) We love having scones for breakfast at my house. Can't wait to try this recipe. Thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteYummm . . . these are scones taken to the zillionth degree! They look wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there were 'scone haters.' I used to have a fixation on Starbucks maple oat scones. The ones I had in England were drier but I liked them too. I love the idea of all-American pb scones!
ReplyDeleteWe had some left over and they were even more moist this morning. Love the cookie scone taste.
ReplyDeleteA great comparison! Yes, it was more cake like - and chewy - glad you liked them (not my favorite) but there is always a first! They look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love scones! This was a great easy recipe, yours look awesome.
ReplyDeleteMmmm... You've got me thinking about brownie scones now... Great work! :)
ReplyDeleteAgree that these scones were awesome. I am thinking they were much more cookie than scone, but seriously delicious.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you - scones are so fun to make. Sometimes I just want to throw stuff in a bowl and mix it up with my hands.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! I am a scone lover and the texture of these scones was really different than the traditional scone but I loved them all the same;-)
